Lindsay Tanner has been appointed as an independent director to Suncorp’s New Zealand boards, including Asteron Life.
Suncorp NZ’s board Chair, David Flacks says Tanner brings a wealth of financial services experience to its boards having been a director at Suncorp Group in Australia since January 2018.
He is also chairman of the firm’s customer committee and a member of its risk committee.
Tanner began his professional career as a lawyer representing consumers in disputed personal injury and motor insurance claims.
Resignation
Meanwhile, Non-Executive Director, Doug McTaggart, has resigned from the boards of Asteron Life, Vero New Zealand Insurance, and Vero Liability Insurance.
