A group health continuation campaign has been launched by nib that offers advisers an incentive for every client who retains cover with the firm after leaving one of its group schemes.
The firm says that if clients continue their group cover as individual health cover with nib, they’ll be able to do so at a reduced premium (compared to normal continuation rates). The campaign, which runs until March 2024, also offers advisers a $100 incentive for each clients who continues with nib health.
The offer applies to new policies that continue cover within their 60-day continuation period. However, the premium payable may be higher than the group premium, and the offer does not apply to members who continued cover before 1 April 2023.
“We’re providing a one-off $100 (GST inclusive) commission payment for each policy that you help transition from group onto individual nib cover,” says the firm. “You’ll also continue to receive the same commission you elected for the group scheme at your client’s next policy anniversary.”
