The board of Chubb Life has appointed a new Chair in Paul Brock, replacing Steven Fyfe who has announced his retirement. Fyfe was appointed to lead the board in 2012.
Brock has been a member of the board since December 2020, is the current Chair of its Risk Committee, and was previously Chair of the Audit Committee.
He has a background in governance, management, business and brand development, marketing, and has held senior positions with Westpac and Trust Bank.
Brock is the current Chair of the New Zealand Story Group, is on Massey University’s Business School Advisory Board, and is an Independent Director of Southern Sky Dairies.
“I’m looking forward to the opportunities we have ahead of us together as we continue to grow and ensure that all New Zealanders have access to quality financial advice and insurance protection that’s right for their needs,” he says.
