Fidelity Life has launched an offer that promises clients an end to policy fees on any one of a specified list of products when bought between 1 June and 31 August 2023.
Eligible policies include platinum plus, platinum plus level term, mortgage protector and/or NZHL life product.
The firm’s Chief Customer Officer, Peter Doherty, says around 70% of New Zealanders are under-insured.
“Waiving policy fees for life is one way we’re helping more New Zealanders protect their lives and livelihoods,” he says.
A Fidelity Life spokesman says that for a policy with one life the offer provides an annual saving of $78.
“We provide discounts for subsequent lives thereafter, so for two lives on a policy, this is approximately $117 saving per annum and $1,170 over ten years,” says the spokesman.
“This offer is available to new policies only and the waiver does not apply to an additional life added to an existing policy.”
