Registrations are now open for the second leg of Financial Advice NZ’s Out of the Box Tour that will be held at various locations across the country in August.
Among those taking part will be representative from the FMA who will provide updates on its monitoring visits. Attendees will have the chance to gain insights into how their processes and compliance measures stack up against the FMA’s expectations.
And with it being an election year, there will be representatives from National, Labour, and ACT, who will each offer their take on what the future may look like, and the pathways that may be established to ensure a strong economy.
In addition there will be a chance to explore the intricacies of anti-money laundering regulations. Attendees will get to understand the importance of verifying IDs and take part in a workshop on identifying vulnerable clients in line with legislation and regulatory interpretations.
