Fidelity Life has extended its ‘no policy fee’ waiver to March 2024, having initially announced it would close on 31 August this year.
Launched on 1 June, the offer means products such as platinum plus, platinum plus level term, mortgage protector and/or NZHL life will not attract policy fees for the life of the policy – saving customers with a single life policy $78 a year.
Speaking shortly after the offer’s initial launch, the firm’s Chief Customer Officer, Peter Doherty, said that for two lives on a policy, the fee waiver will save clients around $1,170 over 10 years.
The offer is available to new policies only, and the waiver does not apply to an additional life added to an existing policy. The standard policy fee will apply to new policies after 31 March 2024.
