staff at Suncorp have been walking and running under the firm’s Spirit to Cure banner to raise funds for medical research. This year’s target was $300,000 – and so far they have raised more than $340,000.

The event, founded by the insurer’s parent company Suncorp Group in 2021, aims to raise funds for cancer research, support, and prevention.

The insurer is supporting Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand and Cancer Research Trust New Zealand for the second year in a row.

Meanwhile, Gallagher Insurance is the only insurance firm, to sponsor 103rd New Zealand Open.

The firm, formerly known as Crombie Lockwood, has a long history of supporting charities and sporting events.
