The FSC’s Independent Chair Rob Flannagan has extended his term while the board recruits a new CEO to replace Richard Klipin. Flannagan was to step down last December.

The board says it made the decision to focus on the continuity of leadership following Klipin’s resignation last month.

Flannagan was appointed in 2015 and has helped shape the organisation for the past nine years.

“The FSC has continued to grow significantly, and 2024 is shaping up to be a significant year for the financial services sector,” said FSC Deputy Chair Nigel Jackson.

“We are grateful that Rob, who has been at the helm of guiding the FSC to its current success, has agreed to continue the journey.”
