A webinar being held by Financial Advice NZ will provide advisers with insights into the potential risks, and process to follow, to minimise the impact of clients making claims against financial advisers.
Taking part are Michael Robertson, one of the country’s leading insurance lawyers. He will offer insights into the claims process and give examples of how basic record keeping has contributed to good outcomes for advisers.
Robertson specialises in professional indemnity, general liability, and directors and officers insurance, with a particular expertise in claims against financial advisers.
Also taking part Is Curated Risk’s Clinton Stanger who will discuss the role an insurer plays in the process. Stanger has worked in the fire and general insurance industry for the 27 years, in both underwriting and adviser roles.
