Fidelity Life is offering customers affected by drought a helping hand, they can apply for a three-month premium waiver.

The Government has declared medium-scale adverse events in Northland, Taranaki, Manawatū-Wanganui (including Tararua), Horowhenua, Wairarapa, Marlborough, Nelson, Tasman, Canterbury, and Otago.

The company says customers facing financial hardship, as a direct result of the droughts in these regions, can apply for the waiver without it affecting their insurance protection.

Fidelity Life’s Chief Commercial Officer, Bronwyn Kirwan, says it’s been a tough couple of years for rural communities, with many still dealing with the aftermath of the 2023 flooding and Cyclone Gabrielle.

“We hope this offer helps our customers get through this challenging time, with one less concern on their mind,” she says.

To access the relief offer, eligible Fidelity Life customers should contact their financial adviser or email: assistance@fidelitylife.co.nz.
