Fee-For-Advice Poll Latest

Close to half of those who have so far cast a vote in our latest poll indicate they are considering billing clients for advice. While the same number are sticking with the commission-only model of remuneration.

Our poll follows Tony Vidler‘s opinion peice suggesting advisers should value themselves properly, and that if a prospective client does not value objective advice enough to pay for it, then don’t work with them.

With one week before this poll closes, the results so far are that 40% are looking to move to a fee-based business model, 40% are staying as they are, and 20% are not sure which way to go.
