Chubb Launches Underwriter Chat Service

Chubb has launched a click to chat function on the homepage of its adviser hub site, and within the online quote tool, so advisers can ask its underwriting team questions.

Advisers will have the option to pose any general underwriting-related enquiries including underwriting requirements and pre-assessments.

Once a conversation is completed, a chat transcript is made available to download, making it easy for advisers to keep a record of the conversation to submit with the application or save with their customer files.

Chubb states that questions regarding active applications will still need to be referred directly to the underwriter responsible for assessing the application.

“While we can’t answer all of your questions through the click to chat service at this stage, we’ll keep a record of common enquiries received to inform how we look to improve this service moving forward.”
