How often is affordability an issue for your prospective clients considering lump sum and IP cover?
The FSC’s latest Money & You research reveals the cost-of-living crisis is impacting New Zealanders when it comes to protecting their health and life with insurance.
Kirk Hope, CEO of the FSC, says the country continues to grapple with an underinsurance challenge, with 41% of respondents to its survey saying they hold life insurance and 39% health insurance.
Its research report, Money & You: Managing Risk Through Challenging Times, also demonstrates that a “significant knowledge gap” persists among New Zealanders around financial risk management.
“Despite green shoots in the economy, the cost-of-living crisis is still affecting decisions around life and health insurance, with affordability proving to be a barrier for many,” says Hope.
