The FMA’s 2025 series of Financial Advice Provider Forums, which will see it engage with the advice sector across New Zealand, kicks off in Auckland next week.

In the second edition of its  Financial Advisers Update the authority says these forums are a great opportunity to gain insights, network with peers, and stay ahead in navigating the regulatory landscape.

“We’ll cover topics including our recently published Financial Conduct Report, monitoring case studies, information from the FMA’s Response and Enforcement team plus reminders on some key obligations – and of course plenty of time for Q&A,” it says in the update.

The FMA says there are still places available in some locations and if FAPs miss out on one of these, there are also two online sessions with unlimited capacity. These are being held in early August.
