Asteron Life has appointed Scott Jensen as Executive Manager, Claims and Customer Solutions. He was previously the insurer’s Team Manager Life Claims, Northern.
Asteron Life CEO Grant Willis says the appointment follows a successful period of Jensen leading the function in an ‘acting’ capacity.
He says Jensen has led the Claims and Customer Solutions teams since January when he took on the acting role “…and has been a strong contributor in the Asteron executive team in that time. It’s great that we have such strong bench strength, capability and talent within Asteron Life.”
Willis says Jensen brings a wealth of experience and technical capability to the role, having worked in financial services for more than 17 years with Suncorp, Zurich Financial Services, and spending his last five years with Asteron Life.
“I know our advisers and partners value [his] empathy, knowledge of our business as well as his depth of claims experience in the industry.”
Jensen says he is honoured to step into this role “…and continue to lead a team that is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer outcomes across our claims and service operations teams.”
