Loading ...Our latest poll result indicates that adviser practices are continuing to experience a higher rate of life policy cancellations since February this year, although it seems not quite at the same rate as that experienced during 2024.
As we go to press 71% of poll respondents agreed their practice had continued to experience a higher rate of life policy cancellations over the past 10 months, although nearly three in 10 (27%) had not, with 2% not sure.
When we asked the same question in February this year, in what was our most engaged poll throughout 2025, 80% of advisers agreed they had seen more policy cancellations in the previous 12 months, with just 18 percent disagreeing with the premise.
Whether this points to tiny green shoots over the past 10 months is probably too big an assumption to make, but it does seem heartening that while 71% have experienced a higher rate of cancellations, more advisers (27% in this latest poll up from 18% in February) have seen fewer policies being cancelled.
