New Head of Brand and Marketing at AIA NZ

AIA NZ has announced the appointment of Neil Marolia as Head of Brand and Marketing.

The insurer says Marolia will “…lead AIA NZ’s brand and marketing strategy, driving creativity, innovation and alignment with AIA’s Purpose…”

He joins AIA NZ from Fidelity Life, where he spent five years, most recently as Head of Marketing & Engagement and leading initiatives across brand, marketing, voice of customer and events.

AIA NZ says he also spent seven years at American Express in global advertising and brand management, shaping international brand strategy across 150 markets and leading global campaigns for platforms such as the Platinum Card and Shop Small.

Alex Kühnast, the firm’s Chief Product and Marketing Officer, says he is delighted to welcome Marolia to the team noting he brings a mix of strategic thinking, creativity and both New Zealand and global brand experience.
