Fidelity Life has extended its premium relief offer to another three regions included in the States of Emergency declared on April 19 and 20.
The insurer says this includes:
- Whanganui District
- Ōhura Ward
- Wellington Region
On April 16 Fidelity had offered premium relief to customers facing financial hardship as a direct result of Cyclone Vaianu in Northland, Waikato (including Coromandel), Whakatāne, Tauranga, Western Bay of Plenty and the Hawke’s Bay (see: Premium Relief for Cyclone-Affected Customers).
Customers can apply to have their premiums temporarily waived for up to three months, with the potential to extend for up to a further three months, without affecting their insurance protection.
The application deadline for the hardship has also been extended until July 21.
