More than 1,000 advisers from around the country, and online, attended one of the Financial Markets Authority’s 12 Financial Advice Provider Forums held throughout July and August.
In its latest FMA Update the regulator says the forums provided an opportunity “…to share insights from our supervision and enforcement work, discuss emerging regulatory developments, explore access to advice, and hear directly from the sector about the issues that matter most.” (Also see: FMA Sets Dates for FAP Forums).
In thanking those who attended and contributed to the discussions, the FMA says in the September edition of its monthly update it will share what it heard from the forums, along with key trends and themes emerging from its monitoring of financial advice providers.
