As we report elsewhere this week, industry expert, Tony Vidler, says all advisers need to ask themselves two key questions about the nature of every piece of advice they deliver:
- Why was the advice appropriate for the client at that time?
- Can you evidence why the advice was suitable at the time?
Are you confident – hand on your heart – that the answer to these two questions resides in each of your client files?
