Fidelity Life Announces Head of People And Culture

Life insurer Fidelity Life has appointed Tanya Hadfield to the role of Head of People and Culture.

Hadfield brings more than 20 years’ experience in insurance to the executive leadership team.

Hadfield joins Fidelity Life after two years as Chief People Officer at Partners Life.

Prior to this, her roles included Executive General Manager for People and Culture at IAG New Zealand, Regional Director for Human Resources in the Asia & Middle East Region for Royal Sun Alliance, as well as National Human Resources Manager for ACE Insurance and Human Resources Manager for Sovereign Insurance.

Fidelity Life CEO, Nadine Tereora said Hadfield will support the insurer’s focus on high performance and engagement.

“People are at the core of everything we do and getting the right people for the job, who are highly engaged, will allow us to deliver great service to our advisers, partners and customers,” Tereora said.

Hadfield is an ICC Accredited Business Coach and has been a member of the Insurance Council of New Zealand’s Employment and Education committee and also the Australia, New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance Advisory Board.

“Tanya’s skills and expertise will allow us to attract, develop and retain exceptional talent, and build on our diversity and inclusion programmes,” added Tereora.
