Financial Advice New Zealand has shared the membership transfer process with founding members on how they can join the new association.

Members of the founding associations, the NZFAA, PAA and IFA, will be invited to transfer their membership from 18 May.

Financial Advice New Zealand Chair, Sue Brown

“This allows plenty of time for them to benefit from the special founding member subscription pricing, which will apply until 31 July 2018,” says Sue Brown, Chair Financial Advice New Zealand.

“To support a smooth transition for members we are creating a dedicated web tool,” she said.

“As well as the online declaration and sign-up form, this will include practical information such as the Constitution, By Laws and handy FAQs.”

Members can also submit queries via an online ‘chat’ function and a ‘Queries Line’.

Brown says their next update in mid-May will outline key pre-launch initiatives, including the public website and member portal.

Financial Advice New Zealand is on track to be fully operational from 1 July 2018.
