The Financial Services Council and Workplace Savings NZ have launched their 2019 annual two-day conference “Towards Wellbeing” to be held in September, which will take a look at how the Government’s Wellbeing ambition translates into the financial services sector.

In addition to core topics of insurance, investment and KiwiSaver, the conference will explore how the financial services industry can support staff and customers to balance health and social wellbeing day-to-day.

FSC Chief Executive, Richard Klipin, says there is an increased focus on wellbeing globally and locally, noting the Government’s new Wellbeing Budget.

“We can all get better at balancing our wellbeing, and as a major contributor to the economy, the financial services sector plays a key role in growing and protecting New Zealanders health, wealth and wellbeing,” said Klipin.

The conference has grown steadily year on year, gaining a reputation for its leading speakers and provoking debate around the key issues affecting the sector.

Event sponsorship opportunities were also launched, targeting organisations looking to get in front of an expected 500 leaders, policy experts and suppliers to the financial services industry.

“The National Conference has quickly grown into one of the go-to events in the financial services sector calendar here in New Zealand”, said Klipin.

The 2019 Conference will be held on 11-12 September 2019 at the Pullman Hotel, Auckland.
