FSC Releases Full 2019 Conference Program

The Financial Services Council has launched the full programme for its 2019 conference Towards Wellbeing on 11 and 12 September in Auckland.

The event is expecting 550+ attendees and will feature over 110 speakers across 35 sessions. Advisers can earn up to 13.75 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CDP) time.

 

Among the local and international speakers are:

  • Ministers Faafoi and Robertson
  • FMA CEO, Rob Everett
  • Opposition Finance Spokesperson, Paul Goldsmith
  • Young New Zealander of the Year, Kendall Flutey
  • New Zealander of the Year, Mike King

There will be panel discussions exploring:

  • Whether wellbeing is the silver bullet to rethinking prosperity in New Zealand
  • Governance, Trust and Reputation: key challenges in delivering the best possible consumer outcomes for New Zealand
  • Issues surrounding diversity, leadership and change in the sector

FSC Chair, Rob Flannagan, says, “With so many changes facing the industry both nationally and globally, it’s really important that this conference brings the industry together to learn from each other, to challenge ourselves and to discuss how the sector can improve consumer outcomes.”
