Fidelity Life and Suncorp Award Wins

Fidelity Life and Suncorp New Zealand have each won awards at the recent 2019 ANZIIF New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards.

Fidelity Life was announced as the 2019 Life Insurance Company of the Year by ANZIIF for the third consecutive year.

“Being named New Zealand’s Life Insurance Company of the Year three times running is fantastic recognition of the hard work our people put in every day which ultimately delivers for our customers, advisers and distribution partners, as well as our shareholders,” said Fidelity Life CEO, Nadine Tereora.

The judges commended Fidelity Life for its customer/adviser insights platform Listening Post, commitment to lifting professional standards in the industry, and high employee retention and engagement scores.

Fidelity Life’s Head of Strategic Alliances, Ben Holloway, was named Young Insurance Professional of the Year, recognising his outstanding commitment, achievement and passion.

The insurer also sponsored ANZIIF’s new Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award, which was won by Suncorp New Zealand.

The award recognises Suncorp’s strategic focus on building an inclusive and diverse workforce to enable greater innovation, better responsiveness to customer needs, improved business performance and employee engagement.
