Coronavirus – Synchron’s Virtual Catch-Ups for Advisers

0

Synchron in Australia is hosting a weekly virtual catch-up series to help its advisers adapt to a new way of conducting business during the COVID-19 emergency “…and to help them overcome feelings of isolation and stay connected”.

A media release from the adviser group says the meetings will be hosted via the Zoom virtual meetings platform every Tuesday, from 10am Melbourne time (noon NZ time), beginning on 24 March 2020.

It says the catch-ups will feature an invited guest each week, who will participate for 20-30 minutes. The remaining time will be made available to advisers to ask questions and share ideas.

The featured guest on 24 March is futurist Gihan Perera who will discuss more effective ways to work from home.

Don Trapnell …Sometimes the best thing we can do is to take the time to focus on the positive.

“At Synchron we understand that when things feel chaotic and out of control, sometimes the best thing we can do is to take the time to focus on the positive,” says Synchron Director, Don Trapnell.

“It’s easy to fall into the trap of focusing on how we wish things were, instead of looking at the reality and asking, how can we adapt?”

“When we take a few minutes out of our day to think about our business and write down ways we can adapt and keep growing, it raises our energy levels and puts us in a more productive and confident frame of mind,” he adds.

The sessions are open to all Synchron advisers and selected business partners.
