Financial advisers operating in Hamilton (pictured) can join Financial Advice NZ and the FMA at The Base Mall during Money Week – which runs from 10 to 16 August.
Representatives from both organisations will be at the mall on Saturday 15 August from 9am to 5pm to help the public obtain “…a better understanding of all things financial” by offering them general advice about personal finance.
Local advisers are welcome to join them for an hour or two on the day, says the organisation’s CEO Katrina Shanks.
In addition, Financial Advice NZ will host a personal finance webinar every day during Money Week between 11am and 12 noon that members of the public can watch online.
“We’re hoping to engage the public to seek financial advice and increase their financial health, wealth and well-being,” says Shanks.
