Get in Shape – New Dates for Christchurch and Dunedin

The FSC’s Get in Shape conferences that were postponed due to the government raising Covid-19 alert levels in February are back on the agenda.

Ticket holders for the Christchurch leg of the summit will be able to attend the event on Wednesday 14 April at the Tait Technology Centre, and those wanting to attend the Dunedin show can do so on Thursday 15 April at the Dunedin Centre.

The Auckland and Wellington events went ahead as planned on 10/11 February respectively – before the change in alert levels.

Those already registered for the postponed events should have received an email and text with a link to the updated tickets from the FSC.

As previously announced, the summits will focus on updating the adviser community on the new regulatory regime and suggest ways of working in a world dominated by Covid-19.

There will be analysis of the latest research highlighting New Zealanders’ views and behaviours around financial advice, the impact of finances on wellbeing, and tools, tips and insights for those working across the financial advice industry.

The summits, which are supported by RiskInfoNZ, are being led by the Financial Services Council in tandem with the FMA and MBIE.

Richard Klipin (pictured above), CEO of the FSC, says the events have been designed with a focus on the future.
