Government lockdowns have cast a cloud over the FSC’s ReGenerations Conference with organisers saying it will not go ahead as originally planned.
A statement by FSC CEO Richard Klipin says following the government’s Covid-19 announcements and the uncertainties surrounding alert levels and timings, it will not hold the conference on 22 and 23 September 2021. However, no alternative dates for the Auckland event have been announced.
“There are two key principles that we are guided by to ensure that any decision we make is to the benefit of the community,” says Klipin. “Keeping people safe and guidance from the government, Ministry of Health, and the FSC board and members.
“As we navigate the latest Covid-19 Delta outbreak over the coming weeks, the best solution will be the one that adapts to the times, supports the financial services community and keeps everyone healthy and safe.”
Klipin says his team is working through a number of alternative options and evaluating the best approach to deliver the ReGenerations Conference 2021.
