AIA’s Hong Kong-based Regional Chief Executive and Group Chief Distribution Officer Bill Lisle (pictured) is being remembered as a ‘bright light’ at the firm following his passing last month.
Lisle, 57, was born in the UK, joined AIA in January 2011, and was Regional Chief Executive for New Zealand from 2017 until March 2022.
A company spokesperson says AIA is “…profoundly saddened to confirm the passing of Bill Lisle on 20 April”.
“Bill was an extremely accomplished professional both at AIA and throughout the industry,” says the spokesperson. “He was an extremely bright light for all of us and will be remembered as a dear friend.”
Lisle’s cause of death has not been disclosed.
