Majority of Advisers Don’t Factor In Gender Pay Gap

The results of the latest RiskinfoNZ poll shows that 82% of those who cast a vote don’t consider the gender pay gap when consulting with female clients.

Our question followed the FSC’s ‘It Starts With Action’ summit in July that placed a spotlight on the disparity between men and women when comes to careers, pay, and retirement income.

Speaking at the conference, FMA CEO Samantha Barrass said the financial services industry needs to think about what it can do to create opportunities for women to learn about managing their financial wellbeing.
