Chubb Looks to Leverage the Best of Cigna

Looking back at 2022 Cigna’s CEO Gail Costa says she’s encouraged by the number of advisers who achieved their full FAP licences and says the firm will continue to deliver products that meet the market.

Turning to Chubb, the firm’s new owners, Costa says leaders from the international business have visited New Zealand and toured its offices.

Among them is Brad Bennett, Senior Vice President, Chubb Group and CEO Chubb Life, who says 2022 has been a year of growth and improved market position for the firm.

“A significant amount of work is going on behind the scenes to bring Cigna into the Chubb world and we’re committed to supporting you through the transition,” says Bennett. “Our intent is to leverage the best from both entities as we become one.”

He says a “restless edge to drive innovations and efficiencies” will enhance Chubb’s service offering.

Costa says she is excited to see such strong commitment from the firm’s international colleagues.

“We’re now second in the market and couldn’t have achieved this without you, together we can all be proud of that success,” he said in a statement to advisers.

The firm has released a video showing its highlights for 2022.

“And while there are economic headwinds forecast that may bring challenges to us all, you can rest assured we’ve been working behind the scenes to plan ahead so we can continue to provide new opportunities for you and your customers,” says Costa.
