While 2022 was a challenging time for the financial advice sector – a year during which New Zealand emerged from the pandemic and got to grips with a changing regulatory regime – the year ahead is likely to present more challenges as clouds gather over the global economy.
Will your advice business – or the advice business in which you work – follow the path to recovery in 2023? Or will the current regulatory burdens restrict the advances you’re seeking to make in your business?
There are those advice practices which have already re-set their sails and generated a more favourable commercial outcome for their business in 2022 than they did in 2021. Then again, there are those who have not.
