Compliance Refinery’s Head of Governance, Melanie Purdey, is leaving the firm to become a competitive figure skater.
Purdey says: “My work with our clients has been, without doubt, the most rewarding thing I’ve had the privilege of doing throughout my career.
“I’ve seen so many come to realise both the value and ease with which good governance can become part of the DNA of their business.
“While I leave those clients, and my colleagues at Compliance Refinery with huge reluctance, I’m beyond excited to move to this stage of my life where I can finally fulfil this lifelong dream of competing with skating peers who share a singular love of this sport.”
Purdey was previously CEO at Newpark Group, a role she left in March 2020. She joined AIA NZ as its Head of Aligned Advice in July 2020, and in July 2021 arrived at Compliance Refinery.
