Haven Financial Advisers is on a recruitment drive and is ready to train more new advisers, the firm has offices across the country.
Richard Clarke, Haven Adviser Mentor, says demand for financial advice has grown exponentially over the past 15 years.
“We want to bring more advisers into the industry to help continue to meet the demand,” he says.
“We’ve found that experience in the financial services industry isn’t necessary to become a successful adviser. It’s far more important that a candidate has transferable skills and the right attitude.”
The firm has trained former police and defence force personnel, a pastry chef, boat builder, secondary school teacher, and an engineer – among others – to become financial advisers.
