Chubb Life has appointed Chris Hand as its GM – Distribution. He starts his new role on 1 April, and replaces David Haak who announced his resignation from the role in December last year.
Hand has more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry spanning case and claims management, sales, and relationship management.
He began his career at Colonial before its merger with Sovereign, and remained with the firm through its subsequent acquisition by AIA.
Since joining Chubb (previously Cigna) in 2019, Hand has played an integral role in the growth and success of the business, says its CEO Gail Costa.
