Financial Advice NZ’s Connect Tour 2024 hits the road next week with the first event taking place in Dunedin – places are filling up fast say promoters.
The tour will visit six cities across the country and features a top line-up of guest speakers.
Among them is Angus Dale-Jones, Chair of the Financial Advice Code Committee, will give attendees an opportunity to play a role in the consultation on professional standards for financial advisers.
Joining him will be Bronwyn Kirwan, Chief Commercial Officer at Fidelity Life, who will reveal the latest consumer research to help advisers understand attitudes towards financial advice.
In addition, Michelle Forster, Director at Heathcote Investment Partners will share observations from the frontline, and award-winning financial advisers, Tim Fairbrother and William Tieu will share their success stories.
Nick Hakes, CEO Financial Advice NZ, and Cecila Farrow, the organisation’s Head of Professional Development, will present new thinking on a financial advice competency framework and professional pathways for the modern adviser.
