AIA NZ has appointed Luke Longney as its Chief Technology Officer. He joined the firm in 2021 as Head of Technology – Digital.
Longney holds an MBA from the University of Auckland and previously spent 20 years at Vodafone in New Zealand and Qatar.
“We’re a 100-year-old business that’s moving with the times,” says Longney. “Customers today expect to be able to self-service online, so I’ll be focused on future-proofing AIA New Zealand by taking advantage of the latest digital tech.”
AIA NZ CEO Nick Stanhope says the firm is aiming to deliver the best possible online experience for our customers, advisers and partners, as well as our employees that support them.
“With his extensive experience and commercial background, Luke is well placed to lead the teams responsible for enabling and uplifting our digital delivery and capability into the future,” says Stanhope.
