Partners Life has developed a new online training module ‘Fair Treatment of Customers’ to help advisers be better prepared for the new Conduct of Financial Institutions regulations coming into effect on 31 March.
In an adviser update the insurer notes the COFI regulations have a focus on the fair treatment of customers – which includes both advisers and product providers.
“If this regulatory topic is on your professional development plan, then completing the course would contribute towards your CPD hours depending on how long it takes you to review the content and complete the quiz (approximately 0.5 hours),” Partners Life says.
The fair conduct programme has been approved by Partners Life Board of Directors and the company says a customer-friendly version will be published on its website by the end of March.
The course can be accessed through the Partners Life Academy.
