Registrations for the Financial Services Council’s FSC25 Conference: Transforming for Tomorrow are on track for more than 400 attendees, the council says.
Keynote speakers at the September 10 and 11 event in Auckland include Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Regulation, David Seymour; Minister of Finance, Nicola Willis; Labour Spokesperson for Finance, Barbara Edmonds and Chief Executive of the FMA, Samantha Barrass.
Among the sessions focusing on life and health insurance is a masterclass exploring how life and health insurance providers can better connect with and serve the needs of the new generations – Gen Z, Gen Alpha, and Millennials.
“With a focus on affordability, innovative design, and improved market penetration, the session will delve into how insurers can shift their approach to meet the expectations of these evolving consumer segments,” the FSC programme notes.
Another life insurance session will include an industry debate on the question: Is life insurance just an expensive burden, or an essential safeguard for the future?
“As financial literacy becomes a growing concern, particularly among younger generations, this session will explore how we can improve understanding and the role of advice in shaping smarter, more informed decisions about insurance.”
Later in the second day, an expert panel will delve into The Adaptive Advice Professional.
“From AI-driven innovation and offshore service solutions to evolving regulatory and client servicing requirements, professionals are adapting to stay ahead. This expert panel will share insights on emerging trends, real-world applications, and the future of advice in a dynamic market,” the FSC programme notes.
