Partners Life has opened Expressions of Interest for its next three-day New Adviser Training Course in November.
The insurer says in an Adviser Update that the course, which is open to advisers with less than 12 months experience, aims to provide support and to encourage financial advisers who are new to the industry. The next course will be held on November 10, 11, and 12.
To be eligible for entry into the course, a new financial adviser needs to:
- Be Level 5 qualified or near completion
- Have less than 12 months industry experience
- Be registered on the Financial Services Provider Register or near registration
If a new adviser meets the criteria and is approved by Partners Life, access will be provided to the pre-requisite eLearn modules, which must be completed a week before the course starts.
Partners Life says the online course is taught by industry leaders who encourage discussions and debates to reinforce the learning syllabus.
“When a new adviser participates in the course it means they’ll be in the best position to educate clients about the types of interruptions to their life that they could encounter, and the financial impact these interruptions could have on their lifestyle. New advisers will be better positioned to discuss the types of products best suited when things go wrong,” it says.
