News that Partners Life’s latest claims data saw “another record-breaking year” for payments attracted much reader interest this week…
Partners Life has released its latest claims brochure which points to “another record-breaking year” for claims payments.
In an Adviser Update the insurer says the statistics for the financial year ending 31 March 2025, show that it achieved more than $325 million in claims payouts to clients, equating to 95% of all assessed claims paid, and 98% of assessed claims paid for its Private Medical Cover.
Cumulatively, Partners Life has paid $1.6 billion in claims since the business started in 2011.
“This increase compares with Partners Life’s last record-breaking year ending 31 March 2024, when the business achieved $250+ million in claims payouts, equating to 93% of claims paid, and a cumulative $1.25 billion in claims paid since 2011″ (see: Partners Life Record Breaking Claims Paid)
The insurer says its latest claims brochure This is Partners Life 2025 is specially designed for advisers to share with their clients.
Other stats highlighted in the brochure include:
- Life Cover: $94.3m claims paid
- Private Medical Cover: $83.4m claims paid
- Trauma Cover: $78.8m claims paid
- Income Cover: $60.7m claims paid
- Total and Permanent Disability Cover: $8.0m claims paid
It adds the new brochure “…is rich in useful information for you and your clients. You’ll find all the top claims statistics for each of our covers, along with useful gender-related data, helpful profiles of individual age-groups, all-important claims information, and more.”
In breaking down the claims paid by age group, the brochure shows that those aged 40-49 had the largest payouts of $102m with the next largest cohort being those aged 50 to 59 with a total of $92.7m.
