Chubb Life has announced product enhancements to its Assurance Extra product along with a New Business Pipeline view.
In a message to advisers the insurer says it regularly reviews its policies to meet advisers’ customers’ changing needs and that from May 6, Assurance Extra will give customers more options, greater flexibility and improved support. It points to:
- Recent enhancements include the ability to convert Income Cover or Mortgage Repayment Cover to lump sum Complete Disablement Cover without medical checks, and the option to add extra cover after major life events, also without medical checks.
- Its expanded Grief Counselling benefit supports families during tough times, and the Life Events Benefit is now available for the pregnancy or terminal illness of the life assured’s partner.
- Children covered under the Optional Children’s Trauma Benefit under their parents Moderate Trauma Cover, are now covered by the comprehensive Trauma Cover conditions at no extra cost.
New Business Pipeline View
Chubb Life’s message to advisers also highlights its New Business Pipeline view which it says has been created in response to adviser feedback for better visibility of customer applications.
“The view provides oversight of all your customers’ current applications, with key details and progress updates. Dynamic search makes it easy to monitor and manage your pipeline, so you can track every stage and respond quickly to customer needs,” the message to advisers says.
