More than 700 members of the financial services industry will gather in Auckland this week for the Financial Services Council’s annual conference, FSC26 Amplify, which kicks off on Wednesday, August 12.

Julian Light, the council’s GM Member Experience and Communications, confirmed the event has sold out across the two days.
“It’s our biggest conference yet, which feels pretty fitting in our 10th year. We’ve got some of the biggest names in politics, business and financial services in the room, alongside regulators, CEOs and sector leaders.” (Also see: Update on FSC Conference).
Light says the programme is deliberately big: KiwiSaver, insurance, advice, AI, investment, policy and the future shape of financial services in New Zealand.
“It should be a lively and memorable couple of days,” he says.
The conference winds up on Thursday night with the annual FSC Awards Dinner.
