The Financial Markets Authority has advised that its report on the culture and conduct review of life insurers will now be released at the end of January 2019.
The regulator previously stated it was aiming for a release date just before Christmas (See: FMA Report on Insurer Conduct...).
However, all work is set to be completed on the report by the end of the year, FMA Director of Regulation, Liam Mason, stated in the regulator’s November update.
He also welcomed the move to end offshore conferences for advisers that a number of life insurers have announced in recent weeks.
