Suncorp New Zealand has added a further $2m to its hardship fund for Vero and Asteron Life customers.
The company announced a hardship package for clients on 14 April and today’s announcement is in addition to the firm’s original support package.
Suncorp New Zealand Chief Executive Paul Smeaton says: “Now, more than ever we want to help our customers get through. That’s why we’re putting people first with these commitments to supporting Kiwis under financial pressure.”

In addition to the hardship funds, Suncorp New Zealand has made a $100,000 donation to Shine.
Shine works with families affected by domestic violence and will provide computers, laptops and internet access to families in emergency housing as well as counselling to children in crisis.
