Gold Awards For AIA And Southern Cross

Reader’s Digest has named AIA and Southern Cross Health Insurance among its annual customer service awards winners.

“In releasing the Quality Service Award results, Reader’s Digest acknowledges it has been a time of extreme difficulty for customer service given lockdowns and other Covid-19 challenges,” says the publisher’s editor-in-chief Louise Waterson.

In the contest’s life insurance category Southern Cross won the silver award and AIA took away gold.

AIA’s Chief Customer Officer, Sharron Botica, says it’s “…wonderful to receive this independent external validation that tells us our customers continue to rate their
service experiences with us very highly”.

Southern Cross Health Insurance won gold in the health category for the fourth year in a row, in part for offering financial hardship options to its members and returning $50m to its policy holders.
