Strategi Institute has retained its status as a Category 1 training provider, continuing its run as the only active educator in the financial services sector to have been awarded the highest possible rating for educators of its type, says the company.
David Greenslade, executive director of Strategi Group, says the institute was described by the NZQA as having ‘excellent’ performance in all areas, including its training, teaching, content and student support.
Strategi Institute says it has held its Category 1 rating since its first NZQA assessment eight years ago.
“At a time when quality training is more important than ever, receiving this endorsement of our work here at the institute is particularly satisfying,” says Greenslade.
“As we move towards the Financial Markets Conduct Act regime where the penalties for getting things wrong as an adviser are far more severe than under the current Financial Advisers Act of 2008, it is so important that advisers receive good quality education to help ensure they meet all their obligations.”
Greenslade says the NZQA’s External Evaluation and Review Report describes the institute as maintaining high quality standards and effectively supporting students to attain the requirements needed for the industry.
