ANZIIF is to highlight the “unsung heroes” of the insurance sector on both sides of the Tasman in what it’s calling the Year of the Insurance Professional.
“ANZIIF remains committed to lifting the professional standards of the industry and its people in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region,” says Prue Willsford, ANZIIF CEO.
As part of its campaign the industry body has launched Making a Difference – a contest to showcase an individual who has gone above and beyond to display professionalism for their customers.
Damian Falkingham, ANZIIF General Manager Industry Engagement says the event will “…shine a light on the industry’s unsung heroes”.
“This initiative is about bringing the industry together to recognise professionalism and celebrate achievements,” he says.
Falkingham also believes the contest will showcase career opportunities for those looking to work in insurance.
The closing date for the Making a Difference contest is Friday 7 May and it is open to those working in the life, underwriting, and reinsurance sectors. Find out more and download the application form here.
The winner will be announced on 22 June amd receive one ANZIIF Skills Unit, registration to a 2021 ANZIIF Event (excl industry awards), and one year of ANZIIF membership.
