FSC Launches Get in Shape Survey

The Financial Services Council (FSC) is carrying out a survey of financial advisers to find out what challenges they’re facing since the start of new regulations on 15 March.

The survey, deigned to help the organisation formulate content for future ‘Get in Shape’ webinars, features eight questions and gives respondents a list of topics the FSC would like to hear more about, such as managing compliance, business continuity plans, and legal liabilities.

The FSC says that when financial advice was brought under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 the advice conversation with clients changed.

“For most financial advisers it also required a review of your business model, your disclosure information, your duties, and the nature and scope of your advice,” says the FSC.

“This survey is to help us identify the aspects that most interest you, the challenges you are facing, and how we can help.”
